Re: Donations for Forum Costs - 2025/26 FY
Many thanks to everyone who has donated, much appreciated. I have updated the post above with incomings. Still a bit short so will do one last appeal then close off last financial year.

Re: Owners Update
Regarding fixture changes, it isn't just about the results. From the perspective of a diehard fan who goes religiously to every game (and there are a few dozen of us!), it potentially places a huge financial burden onto August. What if the fixture computer comes out with Weston (H), Truro (A ...

Re: Donations for Forum Costs - 2025/26 FY
Hi all, I have added my outgoing payments for forum costs during the 2025/26 financial year to the post above - any donations to help me get closer to break even would be much appreciated.

Re: Beveree, NOT The Beveree
another mistake it's not "and Richmond Borough"
it's "& Richmond Borough"
and it certainly isn't
"Hampton & Richmond" and parts of the club website etc still has this left over from the previous regime.
Ah, but is your pedantry correct Jamie? Its a ridiculous situation, but with Companies ...

Re: Beveree, NOT The Beveree
However...the biggest gripe I still have is the club name, the "and Richmond Borough" suffix. I really wish there was more appetite to just be called Hampton FC again and if there were one thing I'd actively campaign to change it would probably be that.
Agreed, that is by far the biggest gripe ...

Re: Beveree, NOT The Beveree
Well done to Billericay Town for highlighting this, I know little about their club but it makes me think its well run.
"The Beveree" annoys me as well, as does the more informal "The Bev". One of the reasons I was keen to take on running the forum when the previous admin stood down was that I ...

Re: Those Were The Days; 18th April 2009
I remember parts of the ground being smashed up, and at full time their fans on the pitch celebrating and coming up to the "nob end" and many of them doing cut throat gestures to Hampton fans.
Like others, that game in particular cemented my dislike of their club. It was actually an earlier ...

Re: Testimonial Matches/ Pre and Mid Season Friendlies
Can anyone enlighten me as to the details of the Hampton v Sheffield United game that was played, I think, as a part of the Ashley Sestanovich deal?
Here is what I have in my archive. Any help with the substitute numbers for both teams/who the subs replaced, would be appreciated!

Re: Carshalton friendly
I think Hanworth Villa's Under 18s side folded a few weeks ago and when they did George Starr and Jack Potter switched to Hampton's Under 18s, so Devan Ghedia may be another to make the switch as he has only appeared in the last few weeks I think.
