Re: 26/27 Squad

Need to keep an eye on who Maidenhead appoint as captain this season as he will likely be joining us next year!

Re: Other NLS News

Players and clubs instead of taking out the lowest insurance package that covers statutory sick pay, should take out higher packages that covers full wages and medical bills.
I've never agreed with whip rounds etc to support players being injured for this reason.
I remember a Hampton player ...

Re: 26/27 Squad

Charlie Sayers being linked on X with a move to Dorking. No idea if anything behind that.

If he's prepared to take the Dorking dollar in return fot having to listen to their manager then he'll deserve every penny as far as I'm concerned!

You seem to have a really unhealthy dislike for ...

Re: Beveree, NOT The Beveree

However...the biggest gripe I still have is the club name, the "and Richmond Borough" suffix. I really wish there was more appetite to just be called Hampton FC again and if there were one thing I'd actively campaign to change it would probably be that.

Agreed, that is by far the biggest ...

Hell of a game. Rochdale equalised in the 98th minute. Boreham Wood threw away a 2 goal lead.

Donovan Chislett has joined Slough as Assistant Manager to Jules.

Him and Jules appear to be a package deal.

I think that means that Slough might struggle. I can't imagine that their budget is that much better than ours, and with one or two exceptions our summer recruitment under Jules ...

Dorking have sold a minority interest to American investors.

When I Googled the company behind it the AI component said it was "not an outright scam"!

Thins from Ebbsfleet's website commenting on, shall we say, some dubious financial practices in the league: https://ebbsfleetunited.co.uk/club-update-following-conclusion-of-2025-26-season/

I might be wrong, but aren't Ebbsfleet are one of the clubs most responsible for increasing the player ...

Re: Review of the season- some stats

Of course last season (24/25) we were suffering from the Charlatans and this season we were suffering the effects of their departure and the late change of ownership which must have had an effect on recruitment.

Next season will be a better test although I suspect it will still be quite a struggle.
