Social Media

I have to say the videos the media team have been putting together for player signings are very impressive, and well above the level we sit out.
Big credit to them, great work!

The points deduction should have been applied for the 2024/25 season, as giving the deduction when the got it didn't effect them in anyway at all.

Re: New Manager

I've just watched the just under 3 minute video on social media of Alan Julian talking about the 6 recent signings. The way Jules speaks with such enthusiasm is refreshing, and knowing so much about the players and having worked with them before can only be a good thing. Some of them may be inexperi...

Re: News of former players

Dan Wishart played for North Greenford in the Middlesex Charity Cup Final tonight. Hmmm, I don't like it when clubs do that. Has he been dual registered for them for a while, isn't there a rule you have to have played in a previous game etc. Can't stand it when clubs do this to draft in players fro...

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

The thing that still grates me about the takeover, is that if the club needed investment, why not put it out in the public domain and encourage multiple options of who could come in to invest. It came across as all eggs in one basket, when there may well have been other parties interested. Even peop...

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

No supporter knows the budget of any club, I find it bizarre people speculate at budgets "ours is bigger than theirs" etc. The only people that know are those in the boardroom, and it's not information supporters know, nor should they. Lots of clubs have other side deals, sponsors for cert...

Re: New Manager

Last three managers all goalkeepers! Feels like a high risk appointment to me but maybe that’s where we’re at from a financial position. Let’s see what coaching team he puts around him and what players stay or go. If the likes of Gray, Deadfield and Donaldson aren’t persuaded to stay then that will...

"The Wednesday" are on it - now named Sheffield Wednesday
"Wimbledon" are on it - now named MK Dons

AFC Wimbledon formed in 2002, impossible they could have won a cup in 1988.

no they don't, just forming a club with a name doesn't give the history.
MK Dons won the FA Cup in 1988 even the goalscorer Laurie Sanchez says so.

Plenty of clubs through history have relocated and changed their name.

Isaac has signed for Eastbourne.
Adam you used to be able to do a job at full back... you've got a couple of months to get fit for pre season.

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

Regarding the pitch works through the summer, if the current contractor is indeed not being kept on, you would hope an alternative is coming on board. If not, this could have serious reprecussions. The National League were sympathetic to the cancelled artificial pitch last year, allowing the first 7...
