Re: New pitch?
It's a bit bizarre isn't it. Like the recent crash barriers added along the main terracing, there are no gaps to walk between them, for really long periods. Also nuts and bolts holding them together. I've never seen this style at any other ground, they are always welded together, and you have short...

Re: Staines Town
Reading other comments it appears that a portion of the pitch does not belong to them, as it is owned by a local resident. This means what is owned by the club is not big enough to play a 11 a side game. If so, this situation might go back to the Boon era. Dixon just trying to cause issues however ...

I believe he was offered terms by Hampton for the coming season, but chose to join Hanworth Villa.Shepperton Supporter wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 9:57 am Luke Ruddick Did not play at all last season and, from memory, missed a lot of the previous season. Stepping down the playing levels might suit him.

Re: Club Shares
Could do with updating on the club website, as this hasn't been updated for over 2 years....

Re: Club Shares
Just seeing if any news leading on from the new shareholders? Tony mentioned the Q&A being filmed, but doesn't see to be anything published yet. Usually when a new shareholder or person taking up a big role at a club, there is a few quotes.... "I'm a lifelong Liverpool fan, but living and w...

Re: Season tickets
Pricing seems pretty reasonable for season tickets. Junior is bang on, would have been good if Youth was the same to really encourage teenagers, who could come with their mates like a lot of us did, and then get the bug, then when hitting 18 start spending behind the bar etc. I don't get the £15 on ...

Re: Season 2022-2023
I think it's unfair to say FotMob have "ended" their sponsorship. More the deal came to an end, and they aren't doing a new one. Good on them for supporting the club the last few years. Some real big hitting companies in and around the area, be good if the club could get a few on board to ...

Re: Retained list.
Luke Ruddick going to Hanworth Villa.
They've made some impressive signings, I think they could have a real go after promotion, and wouldn't be surprised if they snuck back to back promotions. Seems to be a club really on the up.
Some great people involved there too.

Re: New pitch?
Looking at the plans, just wondering why the new floodlights would be 8 pylons, 4 down each side? This is a bit of a dated setup. Wouldn't it be more effective and easier for maintenance to have 4 larger ones, 2 down each side, or in the corners. Is it to do with planning, and perhaps having larger ...

Re: Walton Casuals
Even if they gave it away for nothing someone still needs to fund the running costs even after dropping down the leagues. Bit like Staines, what is the point of starting again if your average attendance is going to less than 100 ? If you had a good core support that would follow you even at the low...
