Re: News of former players
Odei Martin signs for Billericay.
That's a great signing for Billericay. Worthing fans really liked Odei and I always thought he was a great player.
I always thought he was bang average on the ball, could barely stay fit but was a very good ball winner with a lot of energy. Very ...

Yep, confirmed...interview up tooBeaverWatcher wrote: Tue Jun 09, 2026 10:12 am New signing teaser video on twitter. Pretty sure it is De Havilland due to the style of the teaser, very much 1920's aircraft style.

Re: HRBFC Academy
I think we can infer that the Academy was struggling to attract enough quality and numbers due to the limitations of the site/pitch/competition etc.to justify continuation. I hadn't appreciated that the Academy was effectively sub contracted out and therefore, I surmise, the financial incentives ...

A good move for Daniel.I have no idea if we made him an offer. I think he would have been worth signing if we had the chance but guess Maidenhead can offer an overall better package. Pre-season must start in about three weeks time with a lot of players' destinies unknown
It's been quite an ...

Re: HRBFC Academy
The Academy will close and as a result Steve Bates will be leaving the club after 15 years. Seems strange timing considering we have a 3G pitch on the way, will be interesting to know the reasons behind this. https://x.com/stevennpl/status/2062598276595990918?s=46&t=0PF3tzyJssDsJLl_yHWs2A

You might find this interesting from the Slough fans forum, particularly regarding budgets in the NLS and players income: https://www.fansfocus.com/topic/212102-fans-forum-2nd-june-at-730pm/
Slough and us are of a similar size and recent record but interestingly don't think they have the lowest ...

Season tickets officially announced this morning, so that link is the one to use. Prices frozen from last year, no early bird or anything.

Having done some digging, they are now able to purchase via Fanbase. https://app.fanbaseclub.com/Fan/SeasonTickets/SelectClubTicket?clubId=191&SaleWindowId=20100
Interesting, but I'd urge anyone to exercise caution with this...the club have put things up on Fanbase before to test it, and then ...

Re: Owners Update
Could be ready by the end of August then. I suppose it'll mean fewer postponements but generally I'm not really a fan.BeaverWatcher wrote: Mon Jun 01, 2026 8:27 am Believe it is normally around 3 to 4 months for a pitch instalation, so it is possible. May mean playing the first few games away from home as we did a couple of years ago.
