Coggins would have been only 17 and still at school when given this match. It seems he was fast-tracked by the referees committee as a potential EFL and Premiet League referee from an early age and many of his matches became chaotically controversial.

Agreed. I think this is the third year in a row that we've sailed through pre-season without having any challenging games and then been found wanting when the league games start.

My 7 year old grandson used to play 3 a side at his football coaching. I thought it worked great for teaching them to make space, pass and mark and to have to continually think.
