First time for everything haha
I can’t recall any wins at Wexham Park or even the Dolphin Stadium before that, either. Over to you, Les!

Re: Eastbourne (h) - 28/02/26

I’m not sure people realise how difficult a game this will be. Eastbourne team morale seems to have considerably improved since Robbie Blake took over as caretaker manager and they have strengthened the side in the week, since the Dorking defeat, with a new keeper and a forward from the League of ...

Why do I feel that’s not good news? And David Longe-King is in another of the teams, plus a handful of ex-Beavers, including, inevitably, Ryan Gondoh!

Re: News of former players

Davide Rodari scored for Sutton. Astonished.

Serious question from a long distance supporter who's only seen 2 games live this season. Why does Rodari seem to attract such disparaging comments on this forum? He scored some very good goals at the start of the season. In view of our recent goal ...

Re: News of former players

But not half as incredible as Petruzzo Junior landing that job as General Manager of Olympique de Marseille Ladies Section on the grounds of his “transformation of Hampton & Richmond FC (sic)”. And, incredibly, they’ve still not sussed him out and he’s making appearances on mainstream French TV as a ...

Three other ex-Beavers featured in that match, Tope Fadahunsi and Adam Leathers for Chatham and George Penn captained Bromley.

Re: Tonbridge (H)

As for not taking on injury-prone players, I don't think we had much option. The Petruzzos held out so long before selling that players without injury records had already been snapped up by other clubs.
As for what's gone wrong, I do wonder if squad morale has taken a few knocks. The way the arrival ...

I watched Leatherhead get beat at home 0.3 by Westfield tonight.
Westfield must have some strength in depth then as they also won 3-0 tonight at Littlehampton! What competition did you see them in, HM?

Is there any player left from the pre 1959 period?

When I last spoke to Shirley at the Maidstone game last season, she said she was still in touch with Walter Lindsey who joined us from arch rivals Hanworth in the late 1950’s and carried on with us when we made the jump to Surrey Senior ...
