Agree that's not going to happen . He is though our leading goalscorer and has largely fulfilled the remit when he was signed. There was never an expectation that he would play every game only enough to keep us in the league.

A point would be good and will be needed. We need 10 points from 9 games. Slough always do well on their plastic pitch and are a very decent team and well managed. A defeat will undo a lot of the positivity from Saturday.

Worthing are back to second but I suspect unlikely to overhaul Dorking. Frimpong has done well, very much where Mike Atkinson was for us last season.

RGC is/was excellent but I can’t see him starting every game and lasting 70/80 minutes. He has mostly been used off the bench and clearly we are having to carefully manage whatever his underlying injury risk is for fear of losing him longer term. As pointed out in today’s programme, this was just our fifth home win of the season. Of our remaking nine games three are at home to Farnborough, Chippenham and Enfield.
