Re: More Changes?
Will be interesting to see if the new club board changes its attitude towards the Trust. Jacques and Ben were happy to have them on board before the takeover.

Re: New Manager
First team assistant manager announced as Donovan Chislett, ex Met Police, Walton Casuals and Sutton Utd. Father of Ethan Chislett now at AFC Wimbledon.
Met Police had a good record of producing a strong youth talent pipeline.

Re: More Changes?
I can only guess at the motivation for shareholders, many of whom are U.S. based and presumably have limited knowledge of non league football. The Wrexham story has sparked a lot of interest from U.S. investors, the prize being getting to EFL 2 where there is more revenue to be had from TV, larger a...

Re: More Changes?
Thats the end of the idiot brothers then!!... thank fukc for that...I wonder if the money men walk too or maybe they realised the brothers are idiots and wanted them out before they commit further? Who knows It's not. They control Ramayana and Ramayana control the club. They could change the board ...

Re: More Changes?
Who knows? Whole range of possibilities. If Ben and new manager do a good job on a more restricted budget, then maybe more investment might be on the cards (the traditional investment hypothesis). If we get relegated then incentive to invest further becomes more unlikely and the question arises as t...

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker
Connor didn't really push on last season and was very much a fringe player. Not sure we would miss him but that will be relative to who comes in to replace.

Re: More Changes?
So the fog is slowly clearing. It would seem that the Ramayana owners are now taking a back seat allowing the new Chairman, Ben Hudson and MD, Will King, to run the club on a day to day basis. Simon Davers who was a Ramayana appointee remains on the board and company Secretary. James Newman ( Movemb...

Re: Those Were The Days; 21st May 1968
Les, you have got Micky German as scoring but in the comments he is not one of the scorers. I may be wrong but Garman never scored for Hampton. Although I was only seven at the time, I remember him as a skilful ball player. Not sure what his career was pre and post Hampton. Maybe be Shep or others w...

Re: New Manager
Very pleased to see Jacques remains part of the club. Jacques and The Trust were present in Autumn 2022 when the [now current] owners outlined their vision for the club and it is Jacques and The Trust who can hold them accountable. Sadly I think you are a bit naive to think the Trust can hold the c...

Re: New Manager
Alan Julian's first interview now up. Disappointingly tells us very little. No mention of coaching team or players.

Re: New Manager
Question 1 should of course have been why did Mel leave? If the aim is to have better communications with supporters, someone is going to ask that question at some point so might as well have the answer ready. I think there were enough hints in Ben’s comments that point to spending too much on playe...

Re: New Manager
You’ll be glad to know we are aiming for the play offs again next season. Ben puts a positive spin on things as you would expect but no real comment on player budget or the role of the brothers or investors. Sounds as if Alan Julian has his management team together.
