Re: New Manager

I suspect Tony is right.
What we were thinking about at the end of last season has drastically changed.. Ambition for next season is different. Further input of young players from levels below will not lift the feeling of foreboding.
Hopefully we might get some good news soon.

Re: New Manager

I have just watched this and Alan is enthusiastic. Several points Wall is target man and main striker so no Bloomfield or Seymour? Taylor at right back so no Thomas or Revan? Are we to assume that none of the last season squad will return? Relegation fear expressed on this form could be that closer?...

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

I reckon the club will be hoping that Jules can tap into the loan market with football league clubs covering the majority of their salary. Then, we can pray for a good FA Cup run, which can be reinvested into the playing squad for the latter part of the season. I think you are being optimistic, pro...

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

Ref talk of budget. If this is true, then the cut brings our budget lower than it has been for many years. If you compare our signings to Ks then they have a more experienced squad and they are two levels below! Our only hope is that the next signings can redress the imbalance!

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

It’s asking a lot for all these young players to gell into a team that wins a game at our level. Little or no experience at our level. It’s beginning to look like the undecided players from last season will not be remaining. The budget cut if the figures mentioned is true, has been severely reduced,...

Hope we can keep him fit! Don’t want another player who spends more time on the treatment table!

He also takes penalties! Looking ok but he will not get that space and freedom at our level.

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

In his interview Ben Hudson talked about getting in young players we could sell on. Don’t think these two fall into this category!
