Re: New Manager...possibles
Always more ‘managers’ than jobs. I’d be surprised if we get news before Saturday. May as well let the players ‘manage’ themselves like they did last night. Then hopefully if you get one in place at the weekend they will have both Tuesday and Thursday next week to get know the new manager in training.

Re: Totton at home
Life without Jules begins tonight, really need everyone to get behind the team to get us out of this rut. Can’t see the crowd being particularly good with it being a cold December night with Premier League games on. Still no news of who will be in interim charge.
Might boost the crowd with a ...

Re: Alan Julian departs
I guess it might be Donovan Chislett and Luke Ruddick in charge tomorrow night until something is sorted. I guess the only other thing I can see would be a call to Dowson to step in.geedub wrote: Mon Dec 01, 2025 2:08 pm Sad but seemed inevitable.
No info on who might be stepping in at the moment - still work in progress I guess.

Re: Eastbourne Borough (A)
I thought Thomas would be banned for today.
I am also trying to get my head around how the team will line-up. No centrebacks or left-backs. Fasanmade and Dixon up front?

Re: Tonbridge (H)
Very very very poor. We have lost several games lately were I have seen promising performances even with the injuries. But today was so lacklustre you have to start questioning the management. With the run we’ve been on and you can’t manage to get the players up to try and perform you do think is it ...

Re: Former rivals
Although we might pass each other in league placings, hopefully not, Walton & Hersham could very much come into the mix in the coming years.
Our current stint in the NLS I think our nearest teams have been Slough and Dorking. At least the first time we had Staines and Wimbledon around.

Re: News of former players
Alan Devonshire is stepping down as Maidenhead manager after their game against Chippenham on the 29th November.
That's the end of an era. Suspect there'll be a lot of interest in that post. Dev oversaw the best era of watching Hampton.
I also see Walton's manager has resigned today ...

Re: Other NLS News
Eddie Simon has left Tonbridge, citing personal reasons.
Eddie Simon's got to be worth a punt for us surely, given our current situation? Unless he wants to drop back down a level...
Assume he lives nearer to us than Tonbridge going by his previous clubs. But I guess it would depend if the ...

Re: Horsham tonight
A very decent performance. Both teams had chances I’d say we probably created a few more and edged it. Thought Junior Dixon played well up front on debut and Soul Kader did well when he came on. Just can’t quite find the finish Soul narrowly wide or over the bar on a few occasions.

Re: Worthing away
So, onto the Worthing game... any thoughts? As always, a decent awayday. Weather looks a bit grim this time though, with a very tough game indeed ahead.
Any news on injuries and fitness of players available? I know the club plays its cards really close to its chest these days...
Assuming the ...

Re: Other NLS News
Totton have beaten Truro in their FA Cup replay so they we won’t play them now on the 1st November.
We are due to play Worthing away a few days after who also will have that day off wonder if a chance to move it a few days earlier.
Worthing away confirmed to be 1st November by them.
