I would be surprised if Dowse went to Welling as it doesn’t appear a stable situation with the possible move away if development plans go ahead. He might be more interested in St Albans.

....have lost their manager David Noble to Wealdstone in the NL (Wealdstone's previous manager has taken over at Notts County). Quite a step up for someone who has only managed for a couple of seasons at NLS level.

From Mel’s pre match comments, looks like a fully fit squad to chose from. Hints also that the Tope Fadahunsi may also be a player we might consider signing more permanently if the loan goes well.

Chelmsford currently second in the form league with five consecutive wins so a key game for us in the sense that it will show where we are at the moment. The problem area this time of year is the clubhouse end which doesn’t get much sun and by 10:30 may still be heavily frosted in places.
