Yes that new website does indeed look pretty impressive. Well done to all concerned!

Re: Those Were The Days; 6th September 1983

Great player, Shodeinde. Bet he was delighted being paired up front with Tim "definitely a defender" Hollands though!

Re: Club Colours

Sorry but the all blue kit just isn't for me. It's much too dark for starters as well as being too close to the officials in their black but much more importantly we are Hampton and should be playing in at least a significant bit of red on the shirt. Yes, I know we used to play in white and black up...

Re: Weymouth home on Tuesday.

Most supporters won’t have travelled and so have no idea why the start has been so poor… the fact that a few of the new players, particularly Hall and Bloomfield have been on the bench is a bit worrying (unless they are carrying injuries of course) as we are woefully short up front. Just a mention ...

Re: Open Day; September 3rd

Any reports from people that went today? Yep, we popped in for about half an hour. It's good that the electrics seem to have been sorted out and redone. There is a very evident 'scar' of relaid concrete which I am guessing is where new cables etc have been laid. There has been a kind of neatening u...

Re: Those Were The Days; 3rd September 1988

I remember this, as it was my 21st birthday! Don't remember as much about the evening though for some reason...
Yes, Dwight Marshall was an ex Beaver but I'm pretty sure Gursel Gulfer might have been as well, although very briefly. Sean (Declan's Dad) Rice played as well...

Re: Farnborough away.

badly need to win midweek..wouldn’t how the brothers are taking this poor start Well they won't want to be proved wrong over their appointment, so I would think it'll be a long while yet before any decisions about changes are made. Not playing any home games yet can't be helping but it's not the on...

Re: Farnborough away.

3-0. Nowhere near good enough, we've completely gone to pieces in the second half.

Re: Good News...

Brucie, I'd imagine that Louis Fell is just regurgitating the communique handed to him by the owners. On balance, and with many reservations, I do feel this is good news, not least because news has been in such short supply over the close season. Unfortunately, once again, the owners cannot help re...

Re: Good News...

Does the £750k include the 3G and floodlights? Hard to see how we will have spent that much if it is addition to the 3G. Also not fair to say nothing has been spent on the pitch for 10 years. I remember quite a lot has been spent in recent seasons. Exactly this. And a little communication about all...
