It would be interested if Hampton were relegated, and Hanworth Villa won promotion via the playoffs.
It would be crazy to see them in the same division, when not 20 years ago Hanworth Villa basically played in a field.

Re: Penalties
I make it 8 points ( +2 Bath 1-1, Wood missed; Worthing +3, 0-0, Vincent missed; Tonbridge 0-1 +3, Clifton and Wishart missed). That would have put us 14th on 46 points. The game doesn't stop if they score the penalty. Nothing to say it would then be the final score. Olympic level standard of pedan...

Re: National League streaming
Must be money going to the clubs that make it worthwhile, otherwise it's going to have a massive negative knock on the attendances, therefore gate receipts and bar and food takings. Will also look crap on TV with a smaller crowd. I assume HRBFC are one of the pilots as the club have a director on th...

Re: Taunton away Tuesday.
Hear he is close to returning but how long for who knows. Just seems to suffer one injury after another. Just in time for the international call up at the end of the month? Montserrat have two internationals coming up on 25 and 29 March which means it is likely we will lose Clifton, Barzey and Coml...

Re: New Signings
I was starting to worry that Mel had no contacts. Comley could well be seen as asking the dressing room and Clifton has recommended his international and former Maidenhead team mate, knowing he's leaving Dulwich. But Thomas is obviously using his contacts at Barnet. Seems to have played a decent amo...

Re: Dulwich at home on Saturday.
Dulwich manager Paul Barnes has been sacked after Saturday’s defeat. He was an odd appointment with very little track record at our level but they wanted him for a wider youth development role. Never sits that well when your development lead is also your first team manager. They had the same issue ...

Re: Tonbridge on Tuesday.
No one complaining about Dulwich having their goal ruled out for offside at the weekend, that from the video looked well onside.
So perhaps got a bonus 2 points there we shouldn't have.

Re: Vol 13 No 19 Camp Griffis
Thanks for that reminder, Les. My family had connections with the US camp in the late 40's and early 50's. My sister and her then boyfriend (later husband) used to babysit for one of the top brass and his wife who were billetted out to a house in Priory Road. That started a Transatlantic friendship...

Thanks for this, really interesting,
not just ahead of his time, but imagine the work that went into this, without being able to watch back on video, pausing and rewinding.
Amazing work.

Re: Middlesex Charity Cup
I remember going to the final at Hampton as a kid. Check out the line ups from this Middlesex Charity Cup, when Ken Bates the Chelsea owner wanted the team to play in it. HAMPTON 1-2 CHELSEA Venue: Beveree Stadium Attendance: 1,350 Referee: Mr. M D Dearing Gill Goal West Goal Goal HAMPTON: GK 1 Davi...
