The Run In & Play Off Prospects
12 games to go with 7 at home and 5 away. 3 are against teams currently in the play off places (St Albans, Worthing and Bath), 3 against teams currently in the relegation places (Eastbourne, Dover and Taunton). Football Web Pages predicted final table has us 5th with 77 points but the last four play...

Re: Havant Reduced Admissions?
Looked more than 399 to me. I wonder how many took advantage of the discount.

Re: Havant here on Tuesday.
We did create more chances than previous games but Havant had their moments with Debois making three top class saves. Might have been a different outcome if that early header had gone in. But overall much better than Saturday.

Re: Havant here on Tuesday.
Biggest mystery of the season why H&W are still struggling despite the squad which should be at the other end of the table. Not a slam dunk but opposition only won once in last six.

Re: Clubs in Crisis
The good thing about us was that there was no debt so much easier (in theory) to put together a rescue package even if that meant having to reduce outgoings significantly. Had there been no chance of any new investment then I am sure the club would have come up with a Plan B albeit not one that anyo...

Re: Farnborough Home Saturday.
Fair result in the end but clearly disappointing to concede after 92 mins when Debois spilled a shot at the feet of Ghandhour who punished the error. Earlier Debois was the hero saving Kuhl’s early penalty after a tackle by Inman that looked to have won the ball. The penalty was a poor one straight ...

Re: Those Were The Days; 24th February 1968
Possibly the definitive Hampton line up of the 1960s. I wonder how they would have fared against today's side?

Re: Clubs in Crisis
Ebbsfleet is in the same position propped up by loans from the main shareholder. The commitment is never longer than one year so they could find themselves in Torquay’s position at some point. The TUST have a big task on their hands unless they have some financial investor willing to back them. NL r...

Re: Aveley here on Saturday.
The crowd was 696. Factors for the drop: families away for half term; quite a few home games in Feb/March, Brentford and Fulham both home. Maybe the club and trust can come up with a pricing deal over the next month to attract fans with so many home games coming up. I see Tuesdays game v Havant is ...

Re: Clubs in Crisis
Could be the end for Torquay but much will depend on whether the parent company Riviera Stadium Ltd is prepared to write off around £5M of loans which have been propping up the club. Looks as if this was another property development play that has not come off and if there is no buyer for the club, t...
