Re: Couldn’t happen to a nicer man...
I knew Dean Brennan briefly when I worked at Halesowen Town a fair few years ago. Strong midfielder and very driven, I imagine he is like that in his management career too. From those articles it seems his assistant has done the dirty on him, so I imagine it wasn't "his man" from the star...

Re: Tuesday night
Club statement or not, thanks for sharing info you have, good to have an idea what's going on.Rob Overfield wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 1:39 pm The club is in the process of bringing forward a fixture to Tuesday, from later in the season.
Chippenham have indicated they will not be in a position to fulfil the fixture at Beveree.

Re: Rest of the season?
Is it fair to assume with what's happened recently that Hampton are looking to finish the season and back McCann on a promotion push. Hampton added two new players to the squad recently signing them from lower levels where games are not taking place. I assume this increased the budget, or means play...

Re: From the Boardroom
Really good how JLB is doing these regular updates so the wider fan base get to know what's happening. I'm sure he would like to say more, but probably biting his tongue a lot of the time. It's crazy that the games are resuming when the vote hasn't been done yet. Hopefully the funding gets confirmed...

Re: Centenary celebrations.
The club does need to interact better. Look at other clubs going public with how they voted out of the three options of the recent decision to pause the season - I haven't seen "HRBFC" do that, and why not? Does it really matter? Other clubs have also chosen to play fast and loose with th...

Re: Centenary celebrations.
Regarding Centenary celebrations, I would think the club will have making making plans behind the scenes for at least 6 months. You can't just leave things until weeks, or even a couple of months before. Things I have previously suggested, and would be willing to help organise, if only from a far wo...

Re: Centenary celebrations.
This is a really difficult one. I was in the u18s team or going into it when the name was changed. It seemed really stupid at the time, and the name really doesn't work for the reasons Chris goes through. I remember one centre half we had in the 18's who would constantly bark encouragement "com...

Yup fictional programme, also I haven't been there in at least 15 year, like usual you miss the point to pick up on something not needed.

Re: Ted Lasso
I watched the first couple of episodes. Someone involved in the production was an AFC Wimbledon supporter. Notice the name, and club colours chosen - I think that had a strong influence, and a few things in the programme made me think there was quite a few references and digs to HRBFC. The couple of...
