Re: Dick Parsons, retirement
Yes, well done Dick, what an incredible lifetime of service. As has been said, one of the nice guys too.

Re: 12 Months on.
The concern for me is the mention of EFL, championship, premiership and champions league!! ....it is delusional. EFL at absolute stretch because the likes of Sutton and Harrogate and Salford have achieved it but that would take a near miracle and a new stadium being built to make it happen. My conc...

Re: Half Time
Good write ups and many valid points raised. I can see us making the playoffs at the end of the season but before then it'll be interesting to see how we react if/when we lose a league game. Plus, I do think we need a bit more competition up front, or someone to step in if Seymour gets injured. Mel ...

Re: Weston here on Saturday.
Couldn't be there again today, still recuperating, but 2-1 against Weston sounds like a very good result. What a brilliant run this is, full credit deserved by management and players.

Gray has a good game against his former club.

0-0 at ft. A very good result indeed and so the unbeaten run continues. Brilliant effort.

Re: Yeovil away
Easily the best side we've played so far this season so a very tough game ahead no matter who we have in the team today. A draw would be fine.

Re: Those Were The Days; 14th December 1996
Was that hatrick scored on 21/1/1997? MK Yes, in the 8-0 win over Dorking in a Southern Combination Cup tie Remember it well, against the original Dorking FC, who were dire at the time and losing heavily every game. Players had obviously been told to set Stairs up with as many chances as possible, ...

Re: Those Were The Days; 14th December 1996
Wasn't it Aiden Kilner, rather than Adam? Or was that a different player? Steve Stairs was a real conundrum...a good player who'd scored loads of goals elsewhere but his record with us was dismal. Mark Biggins was a joy to watch but less of a team player by this stage of his career. Interesting times.

Re: Southend (a) - 9th December - FA Trophy
It's a truly great result, genuinely astonishing and probably is up there with the best of the others. There's a lot of opposition for actual "best ever" result though.
