Re: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24

With the first preseason game on 15th July, one presumes training will start early July . Assume this will be somewhere local and hopefully we might get some photos/reports to feed our “no news hunger.”

Re: New pitch floodlights etc.

It might be that the lack of information is because there are factors both allowed for and unexpected that make firm information difficult . If they released dates which proved wrong then can you imagine the comments.

Re: New pitch floodlights etc.

It might be that the new work is replacing temporary building and the council are insisting of formal applications which might not have been initially anticipated. Is this work that needs to be done before the pitch? Funding for the floodlights should have been met by grants as per Jacques comments ...

Re: New pitch floodlights etc.

I presume that the current pitch has had no work done on it so it could not stage any game?

Re: New pitch floodlights etc.

It is beginning to look like we will have to play away for the start of the season with its financial ramifications.

Nothing in today’s newsletter regarding ground development works.
Did anyone really think there might be?

Re: News of former players

Funny point was his only goal for us was that special effect against Dulwich which might have influenced them?
