Re: Niko Muir
Muir hasn't lived up to his reputation though he has quality. I actually don't think he works hard enough for what the manager wants. Just look at the ground Robinson and Fisher cover by comparison. Seems a really good bloke though and I wish him well.

“Wassmer was immense. I don't think he has been beaten to a header in two games.” Taken from Hayes &Yeading forum

Re: Braintree home on Tuesday.
Just watched highlights..defending for first 3 goals is truly shocking. Donaldson allows a free header, then Hamblin is rooted as ball cross comes in to allow free effort then Block much the same for third. Braintree gave us nothing and contested everything in the box. Such weak defending could have...

Re: Braintree home on Tuesday.
I think Farrell is a proven quality player at this level. Strong, wins headers and has a great left foot. Strange to bring in the young lad from Woking who is clearly struggling with the intensity of the conf South

Re: Braintree home on Tuesday.
Completely lost our way.. started the season playing entertaining football and a passing game and looked good.. now we want to smash it long turn teams around and win second balls..very stereotypical non league.. that’s what Braintree did but were bigger, stronger and far more hungry.. they are loud...

Would be 1-6 but for Julian.. outfought and outplayed in every area of the pitch. Big team talk for the manager

Re: News of former players
Not the pro contract Gondor was probably hoping for..great player to watch on his day but can't see him applying himself well enough in that league..just read that young Kingstonian left back has signed for Middlesbrough

Re: Spelthorne
Dunne looked solid. Brendon Barzley the standout performer..deserves a run in the side. No Muir or Slew, thought they would have wanted game time

Re: News of former players
I know a few Woking and and Wassmer is a standing joke there..came after really being bigged up by Dowse but never played through injury and when he did he was terrible as unfit..legend at Hampton though especially in his first spell and will be missed
