Re: Those Were The Days; 15th February 2000
The legendary Leroy's debut! Completely unplayable on his day. Anyone able to confirm where we signed him from?

Re: Macclesfield here.
We didn't play badly as such today but Macclesfield were very strong in all departments. Re: Welling away on Tuesday
Interesting comments from Mel about a game of two halves. Looks like we are getting short of midfield players. Wonder if we will look at replacements. We have a lot of home games to come, wins are needed to keep us in the playoffs. Agree with the other comments, in that long run of avoiding defeats...

Re: Also at Hartlepool..
I think we can count Brian as a Hampton legend can't we? A very decent player, and didn't he indirectly help us with going up from the Isthmian div 2 by scoring a goal for Egham in their home game against Banstead (our promotion rivals that season) which meant Egham won, allowing us to sneak a prom...

Re: Braintree away
Well we looked a bit better in the second half, the subs definitely made some difference but that has to be put down as a game to forget.

Re: Braintree away
Watching via the livestream. Poor performance from us in the first half and Braintree are a very ordinary side indeed. Considerable improvement needed if we're going to make a comeback in this game.
