Re: Match Report vs Tonbridge Angels
Saturday saw a pretty convincing victory for Hampton & Richmond Borough over Tonbridge Angels in what could still (snow and vote depending) prove to be both sides' last match of the season. Once again I've tried to be as even handed as I can, but if anything the 3-0 scoreline flattered Tonbridg...

Re: Tuesday night
Apparently their live stream is £9.99! Is that the most expensive yet? It'd better be bloody perfect for that price...

Re: Tonbridge Angels (A)
Pretty good display from us in the first half, but keeping it in perspective, Tonbridge don't look all that great. As for their stream, its not as good as ours and ours is free. Is there any plan to charge for ours? The £7.50 charged by Tonbridge is on the steep side for this level, and I just wonde...

Re: Rest of the season?
All good and valid points Tony. If we take out loans to try and go up, and then DO gain promotion, the added financial pressure of being in the division above would surely be completely unsustainable...

Re: Rest of the season?
Seems like the NL is applying pressure for clubs to resume games this week without the the various votes being resolved. NLN clubs in particular are not keen to carry on so we could be heading for a bit of a showdown. The NL executive really need to see the outcome of the voting before they ask clu...

Re: Couldn’t happen to a nicer man...
If the NLS was declared null and void, would he be that mad to consider an approach? But it's Wealdstone...horrible section of supporters, guaranteed to turn on managers if they lose a couple of games, ludicrous sense of over expectation, etc... I know players and managers see things very different...

I love the Wealdstone forum. The deluded sense of their stature and the sense of entitlement never fails to entertain.

Re: Rest of the season?
It's basically a huge mess isn't it? Hope common sense prevails but I'd honestly rather see us resign from the league than put the club's entire future in danger.

Re: Rest of the season?
I see there is a petition to get the govt to change its mind about funding being given in loans and not grants. Don't think there's much chance but it's worth a try. A far better bet would be to get Nicola Sturgeon to announce it in Scotland...our government usually follow suit about a week later!

Re: Rest of the season?
A bit more information. It seems that even if clubs take a loan, one the conditions is that wages are capped at a level below current furlough levels. This could cause some difficulty for many clubs. So that must mean that if you have a lot of players on contract, where the amount of pay is clearly...
