Re: Weymouth away.
We seem to be getting young players from league clubs. Think many of us would like more experienced players, but it might be that at this time of the season these are the only loans that we can make. Statistically the league clubs take on and release lots of youngsters, some of which find themselves...

Re: Weymouth away.
Agree about this evening, more dropped points and then two home games where in both points could be dropped. If recent form continues over these three games then playoffs might start to look a remote possibility.

Weymouth away.
A trip down south to a team currently in 17th place. We need a win to stay in touch with a playoff place, already there has developed a sizeable gap between us and the top of the playoffs places. Will yet again depend on who is fit , Donaldson serves the last game of his suspension, but of the injur...

Re: Aveley here on Saturday.
Several supporters have expressed a feeling that we had some fortunate results and now we are not getting them. It does give a chance for Mel and his team to assess the squad especially given current form and who is up to a promotion push. To be honest to achieve promotion you need several players o...

Re: Aveley here on Saturday.
Lost 1-0, the poor run continues. We are now out of the playoffs. Three matches to come over next ten days. Trip to Weymouth who were well beaten at home by Worthing, then we entertain Farnborough and Havant. Don’t think Weymouth away will be easy, they will be smarting after today Farnborough again...

Aveley here on Saturday.
A chance to get some points and ensure our playoff place. We have slipped to the bottom of the playoff’s spots , so we don’t want to fall lower. Our visitors have slipped a little after an unexpected strong start, they to might want to make up lost ground. Hopefully Mel will have more choice in team...

Re: Podcast with Stefano
In some ways the Macclesfield result shows when you go up against an ex league team. To get to league 2 you will have to play a lot of this type of club. Look at the current National table and see where recent promoted teams from our league currently lie.

Re: Podcast with Stefano
That’s an interesting listen, thanks for sharing. Ambition in 5 years to get to League 2… Have not been able to hear this, but would seem a slightly more attainable target. With the right manager and the financial backing this could be done. However the stumbling block could be Beveree with it’s li...

Yes game on, and a new caterer today. £4 for chips. At that price it better be good. HM will be assessing the portion size.
No pies for our visitors! Nor any burgers, hot dogs or bacon rolls!

Re: Macclesfield here.
Think he must have had about nine teams in his career plus he has returned to some , not quite as many as Jefferson Louis! . Remember him playing against us on several occasions, a Staines match springs to mind! Agree he will give the height in midfield we need and provide additional cover in this a...
