The only mention of this that I can recall was made by the new management team! But then , to misquote Mandy Rice-Davies, "they would say that, wouldn't they?"

Re: Podcast with Stefano
I agree that the owners have made massive strides with the club since their takeover but why do they still find the need to disparage the state of the club beforehand. For example, to tell the Daily Mail that attendances have increased from 400 to 1,300 is simply not true. They have, in fact, increa...

Re: Podcast with Stefano
Sometimes I look at some of these fans who are objectively and factually slobs Not only is this a distasteful turn of phrase but it doesn't even make sense linguistically. To brand someone as a "slob" is a subjective comment about someone whose lifestyle you disagree with. There cannot be...

Re: Chelmsford home on Saturday.
This game might well indicate where we are in this league in relation to playoff credentials. We have a lot of home games to play points from these is vital. Assuming that only Cheadle and Thomas are out, then Mel has plenty of options in team selection . There was no mention of Donaldson in Chris'...

Re: FA Trophy Draw
Certainly no room for complacency. As well as the drubbing of Dorking, they’ve won away at 2 high-flying National North sides, 4-2 at Alfreton and 2-0 at Curzon Ashton.Lord Elpus wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 3:34 pm Hmmm. Could have been a lot worse but there'll be no room for complacency...

Intended or not, yesterday’s kit was a nice homage to the Craig Maskell / Leroy Griffiths era.

Yes, SD played right back.
Maybe Barnet didn’t want Revan cuptied in the Trophy.

One save, one miss.
And have to say Shane Dunne, who I criticised earlier on in this thread, had a very good game!

I share your hopes about Shane Dunne, especially when we've had infinitely better players on the bench.
Lennie Lawrence has said that he intends to play his strongest possible team. Let's hope that Mel does the same.

In fact , he could sign up for a fiver then pay £35 for the coach. Total £40.HamptonLifer5 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 6:01 pm If £45 is too much, sign up to the trust for a tenner, pay £35 for the coach and then earn yourself money back from all future coach journeys
