Re: Taunton here on Saturday.

So frustrating to watch the game drift away from us when we should have been out of sight before halftime. We just can’t keep a clean sheet and can’t create enough chances even against rank strugglers like Taunton. We managed just three attempts in the second half with the wind advantage, two blaste...

Re: Taunton here on Saturday.

Having been totally in control and 1-0 up we then had a mad 5 minutes and gave Taunton an equaliser just before half time. HT 1-1.

Re: Clubs in Crisis

I suspect the Administrator has been appointed to conduct the sale process but here the fun and games begin as there are very strict NL rules about the deal and payment of creditors. If not Met Torquay will be relegated out of the NLS. Apparently there are two bids, one of which is being fronted by ...

Re: Taunton here on Saturday.

Interesting late move. Suggests we have some more jury problems or Mel is not happy with recent lacklustre performances.

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034

My reporter says we didn’t manage any shots apart from one header. That is not just down to Seymour being injured. Worthing not that impressive. Bloomfield got a shot on target from a Gibson-Hammond cut back around 85 minutes as well. Gibson-Hammond scored the rebound, but was (correctly) ruled out...

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034

One goal scored in last four games. Doesn’t sound as if we played any better today despite the importance of the fixture.

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034

Fernandez off. Bit worrying if that’s an injury driven sub.

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034

If I have the right player looks like he left Forest a couple of seasons ago. Seymour missing again is a big concern this time of the season.

The Torquay Trust have done well to get to this stage but other bidders may emerge. If they are successful then Torquay will stop being full time and will have to reduce their cost base which is currently running at £100K per month.
