My wishlist for this afternoon -
1. Farrell at left-back.
2. A fully-fit Deadfield in midfield.
3. Hooped shirts and blue shorts.

Re: Braintree home on Tuesday.
This season's problems between the manager and Farrell seem to have started after the Dulwich game when Gary, by implication, publicly scapegoated Kyron for some of the goals conceded. Since then, he's hardly featured. At half-time yesterday, the situation was crying out for Kyron's strength and exp...

Re: St Albans away.
That was something I'd suspected but, as I've not managed to get to many games, I didn't like to mention. Muir seems to lack confidence in goalscoring situations and so prefers this "hold-up" role. Wouldn't we be better with Slew and Fisher up front?

According to BBC Weather and the Met Office, you should indeed get your sunny day albeit with strong winds and temperatures around 6deg.

Re: Squad changes?
I read that Kylian has gone on loan to Chesham where he might get more minutes in a step below. Wish him well. https://the72.co.uk/254273/sutton-united-striker-kylian-kouassi-joins-chesham-united-on-loan/ Kylian had mixed fortunes in the FA Trophy yesterday. Scored a fine goal to give Chesham the l...

Shandon Baptiste in Brentford's starting line-up at Molineux today. Have any other ex-Beavers made it to the Premier League?
Drat! I obviously put a curse on him!

Re: New Centenary Kit
That's an interesting FA rule that you've discovered, Jamie. When did that come in? Didn't Man City have an all-black kit? That must have breached the rule. That said, it's disappointing when the back of a shirt doesn't match the front. When we wore red and blue halves in the 50s, 60s and 90s the ba...

Re: Woking friendly
Could someone please tell me the 2nd half subs and who they replaced? I can see from Thom's photos that Cox, Anderson,Daniel and Muir all featured but who was the No. 8?

Re: Squad Numbers
Dowson was a manager who relied on short-term loans (even so, was it really 74?) Gary relies on having a settled squad.

Re: Squad Numbers
Hi Jamie I cannot see the logic of saying that, because squad numbers don't work on 2 or 3 occasions a season for minor county cup games, they should be scrapped for Conference, FA Cup and Trophy games. After all, earlier this year a makeshift Derby County side had to wear 1 - 11 against Chorley in ...

Disagree. Felt the squad numbers worked well last season and made player identification easier.
