Out of interest has anyone noticed if there has been any work done at the ground apart from the new pitch?

Chelmsford away on Saturday
Another potential difficult trip against a team that always expect to do well. Assume no Julian, Grey and Hunt as they presumably are injured. Hope our first choice strikers are available.
Hope for a draw minimum. We have a difficult start with all the away games.

Re: Eastbourne Borough
Would agree with Tony, we need another striker, yesterday showed how short we are in this department. The current squad looks mid table and we have the added burden of starting the season with seven away games.
It all depends on the budget as has been pointed out.

Re: Eastbourne Borough
Bench full of new players, Bloomfield and Seymour included. Assume Kurran Brown and Whittingham the strikers. Julian starts in goal. Gray not fit enough? Only Hall debut.

Re: 23/24 League Predictions
I think these thoughts from fellow contributors are spot on and Tony’s is very much in my way of thinking. Having to play all are opening games away, if results don’t go our way, could put pressure on the club for the rest of the season, hopefully my pessimism will be groundless.

Salisbury away
The final preseason game, compared with other teams in our division we have played less games than them, perhaps our squad was more settled than others? Might get further insight into Mel’s thinking , but it looks like he will alter team and formation to suit the game. For many of us we will have to...
