Re: Knaphill away

Merstham was originally listed as 7:45PM Away on Saturday, but the website shows 3PM at the Beveree? Can anyone confirm on this? Not wishing to doubt you Chaz but the website has shown all fixtures, as confirmed by RP and Gary. None have been amended or added, other than the attempted Carshalton fi...

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??

By me! Do keep up TW3! Plenty of other first class cricketers have played for Sunbury. Dane Vilas, John Maunders, Chris Jordan, big bash star Chris Green, Stuart Poynter, Amar Virdi, Martin Andersson and even Ben Foakes played a solitary game... MK And Overfield does not think its Elite Cricket. I’...

Re: Rest of the season?

I don’t know if it’s standard procedure for all disciplinary matters, but an INDEPENDENT panel is right, IMO, as then it would avoid unconscious bias by any sitting board member. You could have a situation where, for an example, someone with a bias against a club could rule for an excessive punishme...

Re: Rest of the season?

The NL has now handed out fines to the clubs who refused to play (Dover £40,000!) and given them suspended points deductions for next season. As you can imagine this is like pouring petrol on a lit fire and clubs are now being canvassed for a vote of no confidence in the NL board. If successful the...

Re: Hampton’s Heroes

Ah Tony but you could use OCR technology to scan the text from the book, to give you a text file again, in a fraction of the time too. Thank you Rob for your unhelpful suggestion😉can’t say I have ever heard of OCR Optical character recognition... apologies. It scans a printed text and converts that...

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??

Jamie, as I said, do you think the club hadn’t already considered all this? You cannot separate Hammonds from the rest of the buildings and I said, the players will come through the car park on the way to the pitch. The usual COVID red and amber zones will still apply and as the car park is red zone...

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??

Regardless of first team players, or academy players, it will still be a "1st team fixture" just as Aston Villa had to play the kids versus Liverpool in the FA Cup. Fans cannot attend, however the bar can open and serve drinks outside, but would have to put a screen up so you cannot watch...
