Re: Play offs
Of course, if Oxford City win the play-off and get promoted then that means another Club will have to be shunted into the National league North instead!! Bishop's Stortford, Braintree Town, maybe even one of St Albans or Hemel (what with their proximity to the M1.) There'll be a few Chairman sweatin...

Re: Walton & Hersham v Hanworth Villa
I didn't realise the HV Management Team had resigned - absolutely nothing on their official Twitter feed since the final whistle on Sunday! Would the HV management team go to Harrow Borough perhaps? Just relegated to step 4 and without a manager following Steve Baker's resignation. As for HV, I read...

Re: New season
Agree with all of the above 100%. We just await the (hoped for) news that Messrs Fernadez and Whittingham have committed for next season and the focus can shift onto Mel's recruitment of a top striker and four/five other players to augment the squad and really beef things up.
All good news so far.

Re: Relegation issues settled?
We're all Weymouth and Dulwich Hamlet supporters aren't we? If Dulwich beat or even draw with Chippenham at home on Saturday and in-form Weymouth win at Dover, then Dover will be relegated - which suits me fine, thanks very much (Dover are not my favourites!) It's important, for at least one big pay...

Re: New season
I'm interested why you dismiss this suggestion out of hand? D'you not agree that this particular player ticks lots of boxes.Shepperton Supporter wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 3:41 pm I would be surprised if Moses Emmanuel was on our radar.

Re: New season
Great to hear that Jake and Ruaridh have committed and re-signed for next season. Personally, I would add Julian, Inman, Fernandez, Whittingham, Thomas and Kurran-Brown to this early list. Others such as Wishart, Dunne, Barzey and Deadfield, I certainly wouldn't turn away and would form the basis of...

Re: Meet the Owners Q&A tonight! Wednesday 1st February
Thanks for the feedback, I have been very interested to read and feel generally positive from what you've all had to say. I couldn't make it, what with the health issues...that said I will be St Albans tomorrow. Anyway....just wanted to say, "Thanks" for all the information. As a relative ...

Re: Club statement
Personally, very sad to read the news....but, maybe not altogether surprised. I have so much time for Gary - a top, top bloke. Wish him all the very best. But now we move on....who's next? My first suggestion might be the Underwood/Baker team recently departed from Slough Town? But, I'm sure there'l...

Re: Worthing Away Boxing day.
Gary STAYS for me. All day long. I've been in this game for 45yrs and, imho, we're lucky to have him. However, we're absolutely NOT lucky with injuries and illness. Let's allow Gary to get some assemblance of his best squad back together and then see how we are.

Re: Tonight's game
I agree with the comments of above. We gave it a bloody good go and deserved better. Played well and it was a pulsating evening. Yes - why did we not employ a 'draught excluder' for the free-kick? I mentioned it at the time. Interesting that Gary says he watched it back and it was a Torquay player t...

Brandon (not Brendon) was doing some light warm-ups on the pitch at Torquay on Saturday. Hopefully back soon.
