Think most of us view this appointment with mixed feelings, like Alan a lot, but fear he has been given the job as he would work with a smaller budget that more experienced managers would not be involved with. Yes congratulations to Alan. Think the club went for stability, hope he can get more players to remain. Might depend on his coaching team, one experienced man with contacts might be helpful?

Taking into account the timing of the announcement on 3/5, followed by the advert for a new manager, coupled with the normal time gap between appointments at this time of the year, I would suspect that candidates cvs are being studied and checked currently with the preferred ones being interviewed. ...
