Re: Braintree home tonight
We were talking about this last night. He's certainly a very neat player in what he does, and I assume that coming back from (presumably) an injury he still isn't quite match fit yet but I too have been quite mystified as to why Alfie Whittingham doesn't seem to get a regular start. Dunne does look ...

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup 2023-24
We played in the London Senior Cup in the eighties and made the final at least twice. Kingstonian and Fisher wasn't it?

Re: Club historian
Les is our Historian. Well yes of course, and that's how most of us will always think of him, but I just wondered if the paid post had been filled. There's usually an announcement about these things. The job of Kit Man (or person) was advertised too, I don't recall an announcement about that either.

Re: Chippenham (Away)
Couldn't go today but that's another good win, and against a side who have discovered some form themselves lately. Now 3rd and only separated by goal difference behind Aveley. It's getting exciting. A mention for the very professional commentary team...well done guys, a very good listen and much app...

Yes, they're great and I especially really enjoy reading the ones from when I started going, i.e. 1980 onwards, but all are interesting.

Re: Five years ago this week - Oldham in the FA Cup
My main memories are getting that dodgy penalty and not caring in the slightest about its dubious nature, and also the tactical naivety of continuing to try and keep attacking Oldham when we were a goal up but then just running out of steam.
