F A Cup 2Q ; Hold the Front Page

We were drawn away to Hartley Wintney in the 2Q. However it would seem that there is some confusion. According to the NLP, HW won 2-1 at Walton Casuals, but according to the HW website,...they LOST 2-1 at Walton Casuals. Foul up by the FA? It could only happen when Hampton are involved!

Has been confirmed that we’re away to Walton Casuals.

Looks like there was a reporting issue by the clubs to the FA.

Saturday 18th is confirmed as away to Walton Casuals.

Wonder which date this will be on. As Walton & Hersham currently have a home league game on the 18th. They also have a replay in their Cup match with the winner playing at home to Havant.

Rule used to be that you can play the FA cup game across the weekend, so can be Friday night, or the Sunday also.

Surely Casuals fixtures take precedent as the senior club.

However, could be a very clever move if they propose a Friday or Sunday date, as could get a bumper crowd with neutral fans looking for an extra game to take in. £££

Walton Casuals play at a Lovely 2 million pound ground with 4g pitch. Plenty of free parking. And not far to travel.

I see Nathan Minhas scored for Beaconsfield last night in FA cup, as did Leighwaite.. astonishing Minhas was allowed to play in Cup and be cup tied given the long term injury to Nico Muir

That’s cos I gather it was Aaron Minhas who scored for Beaconsfield, Nath’s brother.
