Both Concord Rangers and Tuesday night's opponents, Slough Town are threatening to not fulfil fixtures if the financial situation is not resolved...

And Havant & Waterlooville have called a pause because it's "not safe to play in this current climate". https://twitter.com/Ollie_Bayliss/statu ... 8688048128

I suspect said safety issues will miraculously be resolved about five minutes after funding becomes available...!

Big dissapointment if the season ends. As this is one of the best Hampton teams I have ever seen. I am sure we would have got promotion.

I agree with the sense of frustration, but thousands of players all across the non-league game just have nowhere else to go, so why would they leave? I guess we just have to be patient until this terrific Beavers side can get back on the pitch. I have confidence in JLB and Gary to keep the existing squad on the back burner....maybe until the start of a full 2021/22 season - God willing 🤞

League suspended for two weeks whilst funding position is reviewed which is the sensible thing to do.

Suspending the season for two weeks is probably the only thing that could be done at the moment...but it is kicking the can down the road to some extent.
