Surely the only way forward in these turbulent and uncertain times. Wonder if this also means we might not fulfill any more fixtures? Of course, I'm aware that we're unlikely to have a game on Saturday anyway...

Yeah but we knew that already because it was never Slough's intention to play. What will be more interesting will be games after that, but before the club poll is closed...

Wouldn’t be hopeful of Concord Rangers taking place either, given they’ve already failed to fulfil a fixture.

I think the League are pressing clubs to vote by today so that there is a clear position. As for Saturday we were due to play Slough who have already downed tools but have been threatened with disciplinary action. If the vote is to continue then I can only imagine all hell will break loose.

Club have made rather right decision here and should be applauded. A great shame for everyone but not a mess of our making. Still a lot of water to flow under the bridge though.

Some of you might be interested in this I’ve been sent, showing what clubs have announced.

Not totally up to date of course, plus many won’t tell.

Concord are saying they will now play on now testing is in place. Whilst there looks to be the 22 required votes for null and void for Resolution 3 it is still to be confirmed and indeed would be an irrelevant vote if Resolution 1 is not carried. So if either R1 or R3 fails to carry that leaves R4 as the only option to null and void and that clearly is not going to pass. So what happens then? Options are as ever, take a loan and/or play the youth team, resign from the league or just sit there and see what action the League takes through fines and points deductions.

If we have to fulfil fixtures - quickly assemble a team of unpaid players...just put the word out, there many will just be happy to play

Vote to close the league down. At the end we will at least have a club left. Carry on and we will go on into the National league with a big debt.

The club have definitely made the right decision. The future of the club is all that matters especially in the centenary year. The season should never have started, and the league shouldn't be elite

Just a reminder, the season hasn’t finished yet. The various votes still to be declared and NL decision to be made. Games still being played in the NLS.
