Sutton winning the National League after Barrow last season against all the ex league clubs shows money doesn't always buy success, and keeping 15 of last season's squad should give us an early advantage over big spenders like Dorking and Havant while they get use to playing together.

Let's hope so, start the season strongly and gain belief we can win the league.

The Sutton Chairman, in his post match interview doesn't think there will be a need for a groundshare, while their 3G pitch is replaced.

It's an interesting one, and shows the strength of Gary's approach. Sutton have pretty much used the same 14/15 players all season, and like Hampton, each one of that core group has the ability to play right at the very top of the division. The strength of team spirit that sort of dependency on each other, and belief in each other, can generate was evident at GGL yesterday (was lucky enough to be there), and I'm confident will show at the Bev this season!

Sutton United mostly funded by their superb Academy setup, and education programme.
