How great was it to be back at the Bev?
Great performance too, lots of promise all over the pitch, with some really good displays. Lots to get excited about. Well done all.

Agree an enjoyable game, as Gary pointed out a few errors caused in the main, by players getting used to a competitive game after such a long time inactive. Of the young players, was impressed by Jay Hines who looked very assured both at right back and when he played at centre back as a second half replacement. Hutchins with two goals also caught the eye. All the young players showed promise and that looks well for the future. Jerome Slew (ex Wealdstone) was give a tryout as a striker.

Very good performance against a young side, in truth the score could have been more.

If this is anything to go on the season ahead looks very promising.

For anyone that hasn't seen it via the club twitter, there's a photo album here.

Thought QPR were disappointing, I thought we were easily the better team in both halves..Gondo and Muir were going at half pace, felt they could have torn the QPR defence apart if they went for it. Inman best player on the pitch and was pleasantly surprised how well our younger players applied themselves. Good run around but it will be miles harder in the Conf south
