Call me negative, but I too have resigned myself to the fact we'll miss out.

It's been clear for several weeks now that we would probably miss out on a play-off place. If you don't score you don't win and 0 - 0 draws aren't going to cover up our failings.

Regardless of making the play offs,, results wise, this season has exceeded everyone's expectations. Performance wise I think it has been average at best as we are quite a dull team to watch. This is certainly the feedback given to me when I have taken friends along. Our lack of creativity in the midfield and no real pace from our wide midfielders has turned us into smashing it long at every opportunity and this is neither good to watch nor creates clear chances for two very good strikers. Defensively we have been good, Fernandez and Dubois must surely be the candidates for player of the year and Raven has been an excellent signing. I really hope Mel plays a better brand of football next season over all else.
