I am not too sure what to make of that statement. The timing feels odd especially as we don't know what division the club will be in next season.
And yet again there seems to be no reference to the Trust. In November 2022 when the brothers outlined the plans it felt that the Trust would play a major role going forward.

Not sure where you got that impression. I understand they are not allowed to canvas support inside the ground any longer.

Same is currently happening at the Oval. They use much less electricity and have instant start / stop.Mucky knees wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 7:23 pm Lord's cricket ground have installed new LED floodlights to replace the old one which they used for quite a few years

I was talking about November 2022 when the brothers acknowledged that the Trust were an important part of the club (before they took over).
Why can't they canvas support in the ground?
And what has happened to the local advertisers around the pitch. Why have they disappeared?

Doesn't fit in with their 'vision'.

The "no further comment" line indeed just adds to the bizarreness of the whole thing.
Perhaps yesterday's news about ninth-their Real Bedford FC has made the brothers realise they are suddenly almost being outdone at their own game:

Maybe we are hoping Musk has spotted the club's tweet about us being open to new investors...
