It now seems to be coming clear that something is seriously wrong at the club. Lack of an explanation is making a mockery of the stated aim to brings fans closer than ever to the club via membership.

Managing Director says he’s very excited about the plans for next season building on the the platform left by Mel. It’s all going to be fine.

To be honest, we all know the explanation, the budget has been slashed which rather suggests how massively we must have spent last season to finish 9th. Whether that money needed to be spent is moot when you look at other clubs such as Braintree who claim to have had a lower half budget. Combined with rumours that existing investors are sitting on their hands then looks like the budget has been reduced as a bridge to new owners coming in. Whether and when that might happen, I have no idea.

Regrettably you may be right, we might be left with a few who were fringe players last season, many of whom were never going to make it. Think most of us realise that the playing budget has been slashed , so where has all this money the investors put in? Did we blow it all last season, those of us with experience of non league football could not believe some of the overhead being taken on, it was on a scale of a league club.
As for recruitment we might wait to see who comes , regrettably if our fears are correct, players from step 4 and below. I feel sorry for Alan he has been given an almost impossible task to put out a competitive team.

Do you think someone should tell him the platform left by Mel has gone!

As an aside, the website for the brothers' extreme sports business UXA - United Xtreme Athletes Ltd - seems to have disappeared or be offline at the moment:
https://iamuxa.com

I thought that was the business connected with their jumping out of planes hobby. I guess some may be disappointed if they are not able to do that any more...

We’ve run out of money.

Looking forward to the Hampton v Hanworth derby in two season’s time.

I think they are too busy patting themselves on the back on LinkedIn.

The brothers, the chairman, the directors, the Supporters Trust or someone at the club needs to come clean and let us know what the future holds for the club!
Sorry to say that the Supporters Trust are being kept out of the loop and know as much as we do...which ain't much.
