As has been commented it was an entertaining game and a worthy draw, considering our opponents are second in the league and have a good record this season. There were few chances at either end , Curd made a couple of good saves and the visiting keeper likewise.
Our defence played well and is looking a cohesive unit, the only query will be if Taylor is recalled by Sutton after Christmas. Have noted how he has improved in his time with us and that he had a difficult opponent in the experienced Reid who knows how to use his physique to good effect. Midfield has the advantage of several options and Atkinson has proved an excellent acquisition.
Up front most folk would agree we could do with a striker but that’s not a cheap option!

I guess you might have got that from https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/ ?
I assumed we weren't going to get the real number now so that's my estimate which I put up there (couldn't find a way to make it clear it was an estimate unfortunately). Looking at the Weston highlights, I'm not sure it was even as much as 350 though...

Official attendance 290, have confirmed with the club. Can FWP be updated?
Many thanks - updated now.TW2-Beaver wrote: Thu Dec 12, 2024 10:08 am Official attendance 290, have confirmed with the club. Can FWP be updated?
(Earlier this season, I had been sending them a lot of updates/corrections for the Beavers so they gave me full access - have been trying to keep it complete for us now.)

That is low, excluding the limited attendance Covid St Albans game, and according to FWP that is the lowest league attendance since February 2016 when 285 saw us beat VCD Athletic 4-0 on route to the Isthmian Premier Division Championship.

I don't think the brothers will be posting about this attendance.
I had a clash and was unable to make the game but I note it wasn't in my diary which includes a public calendar of fixtures provided by the club which they clearly do not maintain. Saturday's cup game was not added to the calendar either. I suppose this doesn't affect too many people but if such calendar's are provided then they really should be kept up to date.

I find, sadly, that the FWP calendar is more reliable than the club's one: https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/hamp ... h/calendarEastTerracer wrote: Thu Dec 12, 2024 11:39 am I had a clash and was unable to make the game but I note it wasn't in my diary which includes a public calendar of fixtures provided by the club which they clearly do not maintain.
