That is indeed a very tough start, which probably isn't going to help our newly assembled squad at all. A couple of more experienced players wouldn't go amiss, hopefully a couple could be brought on board before the first game.

Can sometimes be good to play tough fixtures early while they are also more unsettled.

I see William Hill have some odds up now for the NLS season.
They have the Beavers at 33-1, ranking us at joint 12th with two others. Perhaps we are being fancied a little more than we might have expected.
Slough at 80-1 are the complete outsiders...

40-1 with Bet365, same odds as Horsham. Dover and Hemel.
