Toughest game of pre-season coming up I reckon.

By far our most challenging pre-season game you would have thought and as a result I can't really see how we'll have any more idea how prepared for the start of the season we are come 5.00 tomorrow. All I can think is that we still need some firepower...

I think this game should give us more of a clue about the probable starting XI against Salisbury. From the games I've seen so far, there is still a question over left and right back, although we might still be looking at three at the back.Silva, Gardner and Deadfield seem most likely in midfield plus Rodari up front with the rest of the places up for grabs.

Don’t panic my Lord, the second half can’t be worse, they will have learnt each other’s names by then at least.

1-3 now. Attendance 524, similar to the number of shots on goal by Sutton.

Thoughts from today..

Massey looks the part, don't see many others at the level.
Playing 3 at the back with 2 wing backs who are full backs means we have 5 at the back and invite pressure.
No legs in the midfield.
The worst Hampton side i have seen since i started watching (season dowson took over).

At least it is a shorter walk back to the club car from the new home dugout.

Dominated from start to finish, long season inbound sadly.

Great to see our expensive pre-season addition has the ability to show some goals, can react quickly to changing circumstances and get results. Yes, obviously I mean the scoreboard...

I honestly can't remember the last time I felt so pessimistic about the start of a season.
