Let’s see if we can keep our good run going! Torquay are winless away from home so far and their manager was very critical of his team at the weekend.

It will be a tough ask tonight but we've been saying that for a few games !! Torquay are big favorites with the bookies so perhaps some value to back against them.

We've both played Maidstone away this season. That is our only loss so far whereas Torquay got a draw.

A great result. The attendance was 1014 but I don’t believe it - looked more like 1500 to me!

You get your money’s worth at Beveree this season! 2-2 probably a fair result but I felt we had the momentum to go on and win it. Definitely our best “footballing” performance of the season with much more possession and chances created. However, got off to a sloppy start conceding in the 5th minute but immediately hit back three minutes later with a counter attack finished off by Fasanmade from close range. Game was then pretty open and even with Torquay shading on territory. Their second on 38 minutes came from another sloppy pass in midfield which led to a freekick and then a corner which Dreyer diverted into the net from the edge of the box. Bit harsh on us but at this level you get punished. Torquay gave us a lot of problems from set pieces. Second half we really turned up the wick and looked the better side. Eventually we were rewarded when Sayers swept home from close range after a fine passing move(80) . Not sure why he was in the CF position but thankful he was. Torquay hit the bar and applied some late pressure but in the end both sides probably happy with a point. No Rodari today presumably carrying an injury. Still no sign of Ince. Good performances all round with Tuck looking a very good signing.

Another good performance. This team has plenty of character and Jules has got a great balance going on. Miles ahead of where we started in pre-season.

Got to keep hold of both Alfie and Nate though. Alfie makes such mature decisions in the defensive midfield role. And Nate’s just full-on the whole game.

But everybody played well. And though we’ve let in a few goals, we defend more aggressively these days, which is great.

Really look forward to watching this team play each week.

Another great performance from the Beavers continuing to massively exceed expectations. I guess at some point we will have to adjust the expectations...
Good betting tip too, ET. The bookies clearly haven't caught up with just how resilient we are yet.

Completely agree with the comments above, what a good game that was.
Glad we denied Torquay a win because I thought they quickly resorted to bouts of annoying gamesmanship at times...getting games stopped when we were in possession only for the player concerned to jump straight up and continue. They were very good at making non existent "fouls" into something the ref ended up blowing for. They're a decent side who don't need to resort to that nonsense.

Brilliant performance and point, which was the least we deserved. Certainly our best on the eye showing so far, and Torquay once again look a bang average side. We’ve got through this dicey spell of games brilliantly, now the danger is playing the “weaker” teams. So many positives to take, a great attendance and brilliant atmosphere too!

Another good performance and exciting game at Beveree. Found it odd that once Torquay went 2-1 up they kind of sat back and seemed happy to try and protect that lead and they were duly punished.

Excellent return for the first 7 games but with a run of games against more traditional teams it will be interesting to see how we match up with them.

I'd have been happy with 14 points after 14 games when the fixtures came out but if we can keep chipping away at that 50 point target and get closer to that after the next 7 then all the better.

Chippenham is a tough place to go, the pitch is never great and they generally have a big, strong starting 11.
