Eastbourne Borough (A)
What options does the chairman have if we make a change? Any obvious strong candidates out there not in a job who would want to come into a crisis? Any formal process would need a couple of weeks or so, so an interim appointment could be an option and Dowse's name will come up, although I have no idea if he would be interested. If he was, giving him two or three games to see if he could steady the ship might lead to a longer appointment if no other better options emerged.
Agreed, a good analysis!Tony wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 5:25 pm What options does the chairman have if we make a change? blame a loss like today more on the players than management, they have clearly downed tools.
Time for a change! Does Simon from Hanworth fancy the job? Dowse until end of the season?

If Jules does go, (no guarantee that he will) we should advertise the job and make a forward thinking, long term appointment, based on potential. Not one based on a panicky, knee jerk response based on a record from almost a decade ago.
