Why are some always so happy and content for a promising young player we took a chance on to have joined a club who will no doubt finish above us because of their budget? I know we can't compete financially and I'm sure I'll be called a dinosaur but I'm afraid I just don't really get it.
Coming from a “youngun” you’re not a dinosaur at all, I totally agree, think it’s pretty embarrassing. Don’t know how in any way you can be happy for someone weakening your team and chasing the cash to join a league rival.

Don’t get too attached to players. They are are always going to look after themselves first. The only loyalty is to managers but that has its limits if you are offered more money at a bigger club. Sayers was signed after leaving Woking. Let’s just hope we can get someone better.

Oh absolutely, none of them are ever around long enough to get that attached anyway! I can understand it if someone gets a genuine career changing offer from a good EFL club, but one of your rivals?? Nah.
