have seen ferdinand play few times, no pace so can’t run in behind.. big lump with decent touch though. Happy not to sign him though

Agreed. Obviously saying this he will now definitely score against us this season, but I would have been disappointed to see him wind up at the Bev. Much happier with Tommy Wood as a line leading striker - more mobile, and proven in this league.

Would agree with this comment Wood is a much better choice, if we can get one, preferably two, strikers who have played at our level, then most of us will be very pleased.
