Hungerford Friday Home 3pm. They are 3rd bottom. 12 points behind us with 2 games in hand. A game we should win. Then start The Club car we are off Monday to Chippenham away 3pm.

This is a vital game for us, to avoid defeat is the first priority. A win would take us to 50 points and perhaps the task for those below would be getting that much harder.
We have another difficult game on Monday so to get some points over the Easter period is necessary.
Hopefully the international players will be fully rested and ready for the task in hand.

Thats it Won 2.0. Start The Club Car Mr Barbel lets get out of here. Thats us safe. You dont go down with 50 pts.
Yes we’re safe for another season and congratulations to Mel for the way he turned round our fortunes after a shaky start. Not at our best today and had Hungerford had better finishers they may well have taken the points. Julian much the busier of the two keepers. In fact their keeper didn’t make a save all second half. Not much he could have done with our two goals, one a deflection and the other a cracking shot from Donaldson. Our pitch was horrible to play on and the best advert for a 3G you’ll get. Hungerford look doomed as are Weymouth and Concord. Cheshunt lost at Dulwich and looks now to be advantage Dulwich.
PS Dulwich have a much easier run in. Cheshunt will do well to get out of the bottom four I think.

Not the best of games with two teams scrapping for every point. For most of us the problem is failing to score, we had a few chances, but yet again we failed to convert, especially in the first half. Gray had a deflection help for his goal and Donaldson scored at the end to relieve the tension. We struggled in the second half and fortunately our visitors also have the same scoring problem.
Full marks to Mel as he got us playing better football despite the pitch. A fit Fernandez and the experience of Wishart have strengthened up the defensive area , Julian made some great saves to day and again is part of the recent success story.
Think we can look forward to interesting summer what with the off field work and more hopefully some quality signings.

Poor performance but great result. They had plenty of chances. Julian pulled off two great saves in the first half and Inman and Fernandez did some last ditch defending. Couldn’t build any play in the second half and they were the better side. Still it’s a great result and Mel has performed miracles. Good to see Barzey back, some nice touches but needs to build up fitness. Hungerford look like they are down.

They signed George Alexander on loan from Bromley on deadline day and he got four,. At our level he has picked up lots of goals in this loan and earlier at Welling.
