I like the general badge design, but not the H & R, which feels like a first step to dropping Borough from the name.

For all the hype leading up to it, I find it a surprisingly amateurish design, though maybe this is a deliberate nod back to the Bob Tomlin era!
I never knew why the shield that we had about three years ago had such a short shelf life. That one was obviously designed by a graphic artist that knew their stuff and I thought it was the best in the league at the time.
Oh and what's happened to the River Thames on the new design? It's a strange collection of disconnected squiggles.

That’s right. It still says ‘Sponsored by Dowse’ down the side.
The reason Sponsored by Dowse was left on The Club Car Big Rich we heard he was coming back.

Great man Bob Tomlin. Lived in Burtons road. Used to collect Newspapers and make money for the Club.

Perhaps Dowse designed the badge.

Perhaps the badge was designed with the thought that 'Borough' would be dropped from the name then someone had a rethink.

The H & R remind me of the H & W of the Harland and Wolff cranes in Belfast.

More the case that the name change to ‘Hampton & Richmond FC’ was not put through to the relevant associations in time for the 23/24 season, so was not approved.
