..A day late but it is Christmas....
THOSE WERE THE DAYS
26th December 2019
National League (Vanarama) South
Dulwich Hamlet 1 HRBFC 2 Att; 2,089
Hill, Farrell

Dan Lincoln; Luke Ruddick, Kyron Farrell, Dean Inman, Charlie Wassmer (Sam Deadfield, 46), Sam Cox, Matt Young, Wadah Ahmidi (Louie Soares, 90), Danillo Orsi-Dadomo, Ryan Hill (Shaun McAuley,90), Ruaridh Donaldson.
Unused subs; Tyrone Lewthwaite and Cole Brown

In front of a bumper crowd at Champion Hill, the Beavers recorded a festive victory. The first half saw both sides have numerous chances to take the lead but somehow the game remained goalless until the 35th minute when Hill scrambled the ball from Ahmidi’s cross. After some debate the referee overruled the Assistant’s offside flag and the goal was awarded. In the second half, Dulwich had an equalising goal snuffed out by an offside flag (which the referee was happy to accept). In the 52nd minute, the Beavers extended their advantage, Hill crossed from the wing and Farrell placed his header perfectly. In the 77th minute Dulwich got back into the game, Dylan Kearney’s free-kick kept low and sneaked through the defensive wall at ankle height.
Dulwich would have their revenge in the New Year’s Day return fixture, winning 3-0 at Beveree.
