Taunton's problem, as it always is, is unpaid VAT. The NL try to police clubs over VAT in an attempt to prevent these situations occurring but in this case it doesn't seemed to have worked. It's probably been outstanding for some time as HMRC usually are open to a negotiated settlement. The fact they have issued a winding up order suggests their patience has been exhausted.
