Having just seen a clip of him scoring a cross/shot on twitter. He also looks reasonable tall. We were a bit short last season at times so always good to add some height.

Mauro Vilhete won't be part of next seasons squad, he has moved to Hemel.

I rather suspected he was on his way out. Clearly a player that is in demand at our level and no doubt took certainty over waiting on the outcome of our recent difficult financial position. Without him wouldn't have survived last season.

Ref Vilhete. It might be that Silva is his replacement, a lot younger, bigger and a better long term replacement?

Bit of a pity to lose him to a club that seems to be very much the same level as us (attendances a very similar level at least). He made key contributions for us this season although he was one of those players where you wish he didn't disappear on international duty when he did.

Looks like they are making a few signings.

It is rumoured that they are going to a Full-Time model next season.

We were told by the Chairman that we had five signed up we know a new player so would it be logical that the others are returning players? IIf so many of us can cross our fingers as to whom we want!
It might be that until we know for certain who if returning that recruitment is hampered?
We do know however that we need a keeper, whether like last year a loan like Curd or Merrick , or perhaps our own keeper, one ex player has recently been mentioned.
Last season Jules did sign and experienced left back in Campbell and perhaps that might be on his wish list, now
Where we certainly need strengthening is central defence, ideally two players with level 2 experience and tall!
Midfield with an addition already, it might not any more depending on retention.
Up front we need possibly two plus Roberts
Ok a bit of a shopping list, but with a reported competitive budget this season we might need this expenditure.
Agree the strikers and central defenders are expensive, but we know that without them relegation might become an issue.

Atkinson gone to Salisbury. Thought he would leave us but a little surprised that Salisbury is the destination.

Very disappointing to lose him to a team that finished below us - I would have thought if we couldn't keep hold of him he would have been moving upwards.

Well we signed him from Basingstoke I think, so maybe he lives even further out that way.
