What about hard frost???

Just had a look at the BBC football website no fewer than SIX matches postponed in our division tonight however Enfield is still ON!

I thought the only positive thing they did of note was to leave.

You are probably right. I was feeling generous earlier.

No Dowse in the dugout?

1-0 That worked!

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think that’s the first time I’ve seen us jump on the man-to-man marking fashion that’s been prevalent in top flight football recently. And it stifled Worthing a treat. Takes a lot of concentration to do that, so well done everybody. Amazing effort.

On the attack, I wish we’d stop lumping long balls and do what Harry Thomas did a couple of times, just carry the ball forward and release Reece off the shoulder of their centre back.

For now, let’s enjoy a fantastic win. Yay!

Serving a touchline ban, was the same at Salisbury too.

FT 1-0 with Grego Cox pen after 80 mins. Competitive game throughout, fairly even in the first half with very little goal mouth action. We still lack in the final third though. Second half Worthing made a four man substitution and the game turned largely into attack v defence but we defended with great discipline and Rowley had only one really top save to make. Best outcome looked to be a 0-0 draw until RGC stooped low for a header away from goal but got caught by a high boot for a certain penalty. He converted with ease. Gardner nearly scored a spectacular long range effort in added time but fell just wide of the post. Encouraging performance to take into next few games but need to create more efforts on goal when we get into good positions.

That is a massive win, we managed to stifle Worthing of any real threat and grind out the win.

Huge three points, out of the relegation zone, hopefully a big confidence boost!

Really good, solid performance against a very decent side, in a game of few real clear cut chances. Without wishing to be churlish it was just as well we got a penalty though.
Well done to all concerned, now let's try and keep the momentum up away to Totton on Saturday.
